I have decided to juice my breakfast (and my late night snack) every day next week. I am going to start tomorrow morning. I bet it’s going to be an interesting week.
You might not think that it’s going to be that hard, but I’ll tell you right now; I am going to have a hard time, at least for a few days. I usually eat my breakfast around 6 am, and my next meal is lunch at 11.30 am. Now, I will only be drinking a few glasses of juice at 6 am, not sure how that will work out for me. I should probably have something to eat before my lunch, maybe I’ll drive back home and drink a juice before lunch. I am not sure yet.
I bought my juicer a while ago, it’s the Philips Wide Chute Aluminum Juicer HR1861.

I have been using it ever since, but unfortunately not every single day. The reason why I am not using it every single day, is that sometimes it’s just so hard to manage to do everything that should be done before work or before I drive my kids to kindergarten. And days like that (a few times a week), I skip my juice, and sometimes even breakfast.
But that’s about to change.
A while ago I bought a very interesting book called Ultimate Fast Food by Jason Vale. You might know him as the Juice Master. It’s about why you should be drinking raw juice (from vegetables) instead of cooking your food.
I especially enjoyed the book since I am a vegetarian, and he had written a lot of nice stuff about why you really should be a vegetarian even though Jason Vale is not a vegetarian (as far as I know).
Anyway, I was inspired by the book and I bought my Philips juicer because the author recommended it. I started using it, and I am still doing it at least a couple of times a week.
Starting tomorrow, I will be drinking my breakfast and I will update this blog every single day. I will be honest with you, and I’ll let you know how the juice tastes, how I am feeling and exactly what will happen to me (nothing dramatic will happen, I can assure you of that).
I will probably start out with carrot juice, maybe I will add some apples. Carrots and apples are a great combination, and I need a great tasting juice to start with on Monday morning. I might be more experimental during the week though.

If you are looking for a great and not too expensive juicer, I recommend that you buy the Philips Wide Chute Aluminum Juicer HR1861. It’s very easy to use, and you can put all the various parts in the dish washer after you have been using it.
