Usually, the sun is not a problem where I live. I think it’s more that lack of sun (and heat) is a problem. But sometimes, like today, the weather is just awesome and I am not really complaining (at least not yet).
A while ago, I bought a very interesting book about running. That’s because I haven’t actually been running much, but I wanted to start, and why not read a book about it before I got started? It was the perfect match. The runner’s handbook and me.
I really recommend this book; you should read it if you are already interested in running, or you are about to start running, or even if you have been running for a while. It’s a book for beginners as well as for experts.
The book is all about running and it’s 752 pages, so you really don’t need another book about running.
But today, the book didn’t help me much. I have to admit that I haven’t read all the 752 pages yet, and it might be a few tips regarding the sun (it probably is), and I guess I should have read it before I started running earlier today.
It was actually too hot for me, I ran for about 20 minutes, and I got so tired. It was almost like I collapsed out in the woods by myself. I had to start walking, and I walked all the way back home.
I just couldn’t run at all, the heat was killing me. It was about 28 degrees Celsius. I thought that the high temperature wouldn’t actually be a problem out in the woods, but I was wrong.
